frequently asked questions

What ages do you accept and what teams will you have in 2025?

We will field teams from Under 6’s through to U17/U18 age groups in Junior Competitions as well as adults of any age in the Senior Competition. We are excited to be again fielding a Women's team (or two!) this season, alongside our fantastic blokes in the Open Mens and Over 35's and the new Over 45'sMens teams.

The “Rooball” competition will run for those aged 5 years to 10 years. Children turning 5 or older in 2025 are eligible to register. Rooball is a smaller version of soccer on smaller fields. This gives the young players the maximum opportunity to pariticipate in soccer. Teams are mixed, however some girls only teams have been introduced this year (see below).

In 2025, Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association continues the U8 All Girls age group. This is for girls aged 6, 7 and 8 years of age should they wish to play in the All Girls division. Games are played on a Saturday.

The “Competitive” junior competition is for those aged 11 years to 17 years. Competitive fixtures are played on a full size field with 11 players per team. Teams are mixed and players are not graded on ability. Games are played on a Saturday.

Senior Fixtures are for those aged 15 years and older. Our club will field an Open Mens, an Open Ladies an Over 35s Mens and an Over 45s Mens team. Games are played on a Friday night in a competitive and social manner.

What level of ability is required to play?

All ages and all abilities are welcome in all teams - our club is all about developing soccer skills, having fun, building confidence and learning the importance of teamwork.

When do registrations close?

In order for us to form teams, registrations MUST be received by 12 February 2025. If you register after this date we may not be able to place you in your previous team or with players you request. If teams are full, we may not be able to fulfil your registration at all.

When does the season begin?

The season begins Saturday 8 March 2025.

Where do we train and play?

Our home fields will once again be at the Multisports Complex in Mudjimba. Training locations will vary and will largely be based upon the availability of local fields and the preference of individual coaches. All games are played on the Sunshine Coast.

How much does it cost to play?

We will once again be accepting FairPlay vouchers from eligible families.

Our 2025 fees are all-inclusive for the 2025 calendar year (shirts and socks provided, insurance fully covered, EOY trophies and awards included, kit bags provided to coaches for use, training and game balls provided to teams). Fees are as follows:

* Under 6 and Under 7 teams: $280 per player

* Under 8, Under 9 and Under 10 teams: $295 per player

* Under 11 through to Under 18 teams: $340 per player

* Ladies teams: $400 per player
